Better with Saddam Mike Rappaport

According to Benj Hellie, over at the Leiter Blog:

Womens’ rights “more respected” under Saddam.  Thus, he concludes: Now when some wingnut asks you if you’d prefer to have Saddam back, you can answer ‘yes’.

Just precious.  I suppose this excludes those women who were the victims of Saddam’s rape rooms or his chemical attacks.  But maybe not.  After all, the new victims are the victims of religion whereas the others were just the  victims of secular authorities acting for the State.
