Missing link discovered; intelligent design rebutted, scientists say Tom Smith

Palentologists at UCLA have discovered the long sought after missing link in human evolution, according to a press release today.  Shockingly, the link is also a player for the LA Clippers, an NBA basketball team.  “They say he comes from Central Michigan,” said Professor Helmut Ordorffergummerrund, “but I don’t believe it.  I think he bears a much closer resemblance to the the Danish bog man, unearthed, as you may recall, in 1957.  It is a most remarkable discovery.”  LA Clipper Chris Kaman was not available for comment.  “He’s eating right now,” said his roommate, “and will be for the foreseeable future.”  The roommate denied rumors that Kaman had been found frozen in a cave in Iceland before beginning his collegiate hoops career.
