American Muslims: Is there hope? Mike Rappaport

Since the attacks on 9/11, many people have wondered where the moderate muslims are who would denounce this behavior.  The New York  Times runs a story on two muslim leaders who are said to be seeking a middle ground — one that rejects the materialism of America and the terrorism or Islamc Extremism. 

Well, I am happy to see that these two leaders are opposed to terrorism and do seem to be emphasizing the need for diversity and tolerance.  Nonetheless,
