Proportionality Mike Rappaport

X has several posts on proportionality in the laws of war.  There is a basic distinction between two different types of proportionality: proportionality in the decision to go to war and proportionality in the conducting of the war.  Critics of Israel have charged her with a lack of proportionality in both cases, although their analysis is rarely careful about these distinctions.
