Very wise words on marriage; also works on kids Tom Smith

This is true, every word.  As it happened, I became a first time dog owner when we had a bunch of little kids in the house, and was reading a lot of dog training books.  This stuff really works.  LWJ got annoyed when I was teaching William to let go of the side of the pool by luring him with a piece of chocolate, but it worked.  It may not be the answer to everything, but the techniques really work, like incompatible behavior.  It’s hard to teach a dog not to jump up on a guest (though the redneck trick of kicking them in the stomach does work), but you can teach them to sit and stay, which prevents them from jumping up.
