Lending new meaning to the term “untimely death”

Or was it a timely death.  Certainly not from the point of view of the United States.  I refer to the “abatement” of of Enron CEO Kenneth Lay’s criminal conviction.  One really has to wonder if he did not plan it this way.  Or maybe it was just a very small piece of luck he had coming his way.
