New ACS Journal Mike Rappaport
Alas, Eugene beat me to the punch in making fun of the new American Constitution Society (ACS) law journal, the Harvard Law & Policy Review. This is so very similar to the conservative and libertarian journal at Harvard associated with the Federalist Society, the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.
ACS should have picked a different name to distinguish itself from the existing journal. It really is kind of funny though. ACS has tried to copy the Federalist Society in almost every way (I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery) so it is not surprising that they could not come up with a more distinct name. But really folk, you are supposed to be the smart party.
Update: The Weekly Standard makes some of these points here.
