Global warming debate warming up Tom Smith

Scientists are fighting over the global warming debate, and accusing each other of playing politics.  The take of the New Scientist, of course, is that the pessimists, who think human activity is warming the climate, are just honest scientists trying to do their jobs, while optimists, who think warming is exaggerated, are industry lackeys.  It’s impossible for mere lawyers to know is going on.  I certainly am not so naive as to think that just because one is funded by a government, NGO or the UN, however, that one has no agenda.
