Muslim Population in EuropeMike Rappaport

I came across these statistics on the Muslim population of Europe.  One can see why France has had a much harder time of things than other countries.

The Muslim population of France is 10 percent, the highest in Old Europe.  Next is the Netherlands, with 5.4 percent.  And Germany has 3.7 percent.  Other countries have much lower Muslim populations: Italy 2.4, Spain 1.2.
