I only seem like I’m in a comaMike Rappaport
Pretty darn scary if true.
A Polish man regained consciousness after 19 years in an apparent coma.A traumatic accident caused a brain tumor that made him unable to speakor move his limbs. This year, rehabilitative therapy restored hisfunctions. He now says he conscious the whole time:”I heard everything around me, I understood everything but I could notutter a single word. I was like a plant. It was horrible, not beingable to communicate.” Skeptical reaction by a government neurologist:It wasn’t really a coma or a vegetative state. Scary rebuttal: Exactly.

And the Polish man’s wife also deserves mention:
“I’m alive today thanks to my wife.”
Grzebski was transferred from one hospital to another to undergotreatment until finally his wife opted to bring him home and care forhim herself.
“I did everything to keep him alive. I clung to even theflimsiest hope. I so wanted my children to have a father and theirchildren, a grandfather,” she said.
She even included him in daily family routines as well asspecial occasions such as Christmas, baptisms, the marriages of hisfour children.
In the spring of this year, he was hospitalised with pneumonia, and medical staff seized the occasion to give him rehabilitativetherapy. This time, it worked.
