My longtime Princeton University colleague Joshua Katz, a distinguished classicist and linguistics scholar, was recently dismissed from his tenured position by Princeton in a case that has received international attention. I was Professor Katz s official Adviser in Princeton s disciplinary system through the course of the entire four-year long ordeal that resulted in his dismissal.
