Additional Documents Found at Biden s Wilmington Home, White House Says – The New York Times

WASHINGTON Five more pages containing classified information were found at President Biden s Delaware home on Thursday, the White House said on Saturday, bringing the tally to six such pages uncovered this week.

The additional pages, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said, were discovered hours after a White House statement on Thursday morning that cited only one that Mr. Biden s aides had discovered the night before in a storage area adjacent to the garage of the president s home in Wilmington.

Thursday evening, the White House said, Justice Department officials had gone to retrieve that page, and a White House lawyer had met them to oversee the transfer. Five additional classified pages were then identified among the materials with it.

All of this classified document stuff is complete BS, if I may use that technical term. I suppose you can fairly say the Democrats started it, but just to be clear — that a document bears a classified stamp and cover means less. than. nothing. If it says “Top Secret — Eyes Only” and then has a list of all the bureaucrats who can eye the thing, that might mean something. But mostly, not. NPR or somebody allowed that there are created more than one *billion* classified documents per year. Per year! Back even before climate change began, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I worked in the White House, by which we mean what is now called the Eisenhower Executive Office Building — The White House is “the West Wing” — and I got a first hand view of all this document hysteria. Everything was classified. Lunch schedules were classified. Memos about nothing were classified. You were supposed to clean up your desk every night and lock anything Secret or above in your safe. But not everybody had a safe. In which case, who knew what to do with them. I made sure to leave my desk such a mess that any Secret Service person who trolled through my office would be discouraged and that seemed to work for me just fine. I once saw a homeless man walking down the street outside of the WH with the distinctive looking WH burn bag over his shoulder. Where had he gotten that I could only imagine. Should I report him to the Secret Service? Nahhh, I decided. Maybe he was walking down to the Soviet embassy to see if he could pawn them off on them for beer money, in which case he would be wasting their time as well as mine for even thinking about him. If there is a deep state, I can only hope they are wasting their time at the same rate as the regular state, with every document marked “Super deduper Top Secret!”
