Reid Hoffman (I suspect) tried to poach my best engineer/leader from me because we were stupid enough to enter his tournament to improve Netflix’s algorithm, way back in the day, around 2005 or so. Very sketchy move. He is also is rumored to be on the Epstein’s Island list, which I don’t doubt of someone who would stoop so low as to attempt to poach an engineer. Still, he may be a great guy. Who knows. But I do not think so.
