Socialism wins in NYC and it’s coming for you too

Listen to David Freiberg at 40:00. Young, college educated white people (are about to) elect Zohran because they’re in debt from going to college, cannot pay that loan back and think they will only get help from government. So they turn to socialism. Lots of other debt as well. It’s a trend, not just Zohran’s charisma. This always happens when representative democracies get deeply in debt and can’t claw their way out. This time may not be different. But I’m thinking California will probably go full socialist before other states do, which makes me angry but you have to just be a stoic about it, go with the flow I guess, from Utah, Idaho or El Salvador. Other suggestions? Was it Epictetus who said if you’re going to drown just compose yourself and do it quietly, and don’t be a big baby about it, and just upset those who are drowning around you?
