Frank Dikotter – Mao’s Great Famine: The History of China’s Most Devastating Catastrophe

via www.youtube.com

It’s the 100th Anniversary of the CCP! So for the next week or so, I’ll be posting some materials that will give us some sense of this really special organization, and some sense of what Socialism with Chinese Characteristics promises to all of us, if only we decide to walk down this path. Don’t worry, the USA will get its turn as well. I dislike genocidal maniacs of all nationality. But for now, nobody, not Hitler, not even Stalin,– well, perhaps Stalin, it depends on how you count the millions upon millions shot, or beaten to death, or left to starve — can compete with Mao, that pesky, portly paedophilic pilferer of peasants’ produce, that sinister cynosure of Sino-communist insanity, that, well, you get the idea. Really quite unimaginably wicked dude, and he’s just the guy Xi looks up to.
