The devastating wildfire season in California that’s seen a record number of acres burn may get worse starting Wednesday as hot, dry conditions with intense winds threaten to spark more flames. 

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a red flag warning through Friday for Northern California due to dry, windy weather that could fuel blazes in the region.
