Pregnant Catasauqua woman gets state prison for shooting boyfriend; he lost eye in the attack but forgives her – The Morning Call
Nicole Marie Kremsner claimed that she and her boyfriend, Eduardo Diaz, were fooling around with a loaded handgun on the morning of April 10 as they had done frequently during their brief relationship, she said when she accidentally shot him in the head.
Kremsner, 25, of Catasauqua, told the judge that she thought the gun s safety lock was on, and she didn t realize there was a bullet in the chamber.
Maybe it was the methamphetamine and marijuana that she d consumed, she said, but she didn t even know she shot him until he pulled away the hand covering his right eye and she saw the gaping wound.
