The TRUE Cause Behind the Inequality and Violence Right Now – YouTube
Violent crime is predicted best by the Gini Coefficient, which is the measure of wealth inequality or relative poverty. This metric works regardless of the size of population you are measuring. Inequality (relative poverty) predicts the relative differences in violent crime across cities, counties, states, and countries. So what causes inequality? The Fed. Specifically, inflation. Since 1971 when inflation began the largest increase it has seen in global history, we have seen the biggest growth of inequality. Since the Fed causes inflation, they are responsible for the inequality they have caused. Without the inflationary monetary policy the Fed has engaged in for decades, the government would not have the spending power to redistribute so much wealth into the hands of the few. If we want to decrease violence, we need to decrease inequality, which can only be accomplished by reversing inflationary monetary policies.
