It is very odd. I’m a strong supporter of Ukraine not just because of my lovely daughter-in-law and her beautiful country, but also because I generally oppose Sauron, Mordor and all the orcs who swarm out of there to despoil their neighbors. That said, this sabotage looks a lot more like a CIA op than anything else. I don’t see what Russia has to gain. Some people are even talking about mysterious “third parties.” But who? There is undoubtedly much going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about. So we really don’t know. Probably never will, with certainty at least.
