We’re in the very best of hands. Actually, we’re not in the Fed’s hands. They just like to pretend we’re in their hands and that they know what they’re doing. I bet neither is true. Still, the fact that the global macroeconomy is way out of the Fed’s control does *not* mean they can’t screw things up.
