RC interviews spokesperson for aborted fetus-babies!
We are fortunate here at the RC to have the unique opportunity to present this exclusive interview of Thad Notbornen, who was aborted in 2006 and is now enjoying eternity in heaven. We interviewed him just after his usual soccer (they call it football in heaven) game on what would be last Saturday to us. The transcript has been lightly edited to eliminate various pious exclamations.
RC: First of all, thanks Thad for talking to us.
Thad: No worries. I’ve got all the time in the world.
RC: Hah. Yes. I can see that. You seem to be enjoying yourself?
Thad: What can I say? It’s heaven! But I’m not sure we’re going to win the cup again, as we always have. Not sure how they manage to come up with so many good teams up here, especially in the under-0 league. And we keep winning, though just barely. And no injuries! Go figure.
RC: We wanted to ask you about the latest from the US Supreme Court on abortion? Do you have any comment?
Thad: Well, I would have worried that we wouldn’t get so much fresh talent from various places I keep my eye on, but every time I start to, I just stop, so that’s weird. It’s a good thing, of course. I’m assured it will make absolutely no difference in our recruiting, though I don’t understand why.
RC: Hmm.
RC: Management decision, I suppose.
Thad: Yeah, well, from a legal point of view, it’s an obvious call.*
RC: How so?
