The Satanic Temple, based in the US, with chapters in Canada, Australia, and the UK, continues to fight for access to abortion drugs for their religious rituals.
AdvertisementSince the Satanic Temple announced in August 2020 that abortion rituals are a part of their religious ceremonies, they have been fighting harder than ever for the repeal of all abortion legislation in the US. On August 31, attorney Matthew A. Kezhaya, wrote an open letter to the FDA demanding that The Satanic Temple members be granted unrestricted access to misoprostal and mifepristone, the two drugs used in medical abortions.
I think the Satanists would prefer post-birth babies (so to speak) for their rituals, but it’s actually illegal to deliberately kill these babies. So they’re going for the next best thing. If that’s true (and it’s just my informed guess) it’s pretty nasty, wicked and downright evil of them. But that’s how they roll.
