Father Ryan Hilderbrand of Huntingburg, Ind., has a useful thread explaining why Joe Biden was barred from receiving the Eucharist at a South Carolina church on Sunday:
Why someone as old as Uncle Joe wants to be President is utterly beyond me. He should be looking to get his interior house in order, which he probably, evidently thinks he can help by going to Communion. But it’s not that simple. Some priest should gently but firmly set him straight. Maybe this will be his turning point. I doubt it, but here’s hoping.
