Scalfari: Pope Denied Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ | CNSNews

In his new book and in the periodical he founded, La Repubblica, Eugenio Scalfari, a long-time friend of Pope Francis and frequent papal interviewer, claims that the Pope told him that Jesus Christ did not rise bodily from the dead but “in the semblance of a spirit.” 

This notion is a contradiction of Church teaching and the Gospels.

I would guess Papa did not say what Scalfari said he said but Papa is too stubborn to do anything that would be seen as a victory for the Trads. Still, Francis probably should cut the old lying Masonic Communist loose, and should have done so long ago. Yes, Masonry is a thing in Italy.
