Update on comments situation

So I’ve pretty much given up on comments, at least for the time being. It turns out that the comments cannot be fixed for reasons too complicated to explain. If I want to have comments, I’m basically going to have to start a new blog, which is easy enough, but I might lose all of the blog up to now, unless I pay typepad $15 per month to keep it up (I think–but I’m not sure).
