In America we need more prayer, not less, President Trump said in a brief appearance before reporters at the White House.

“Some governors have deemed the liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential,” the president said. “But have left out churches and other houses of worship. It’s not right. So I’m correcting this injustice and calling houses of worship essential.”

PDT can’t actually declare church an essential service. Though, I wonder, why couldn’t the DOJ get one of those global injunctions declaring church services essential (of course it would have to be crafted, but that’s the idea)? I guess they don’t like global injunctions, but I would think some religious organization could do so. Heck, I could do it, but I don’t know where the federal courthouse is.
