The Controversial Experiments and Wuhan Lab Suspected of Starting the Coronavirus Pandemic

Just one day after the U.S. surpassed China to become the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases, the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency updated its assessment of the origin of the novel coronavirus to reflect that it may have been accidentally released from an infectious diseases lab, Newsweek has learned.

The report, dated March 27 and corroborated by two U.S. officials, reveals that U.S. intelligence revised its January assessment in which it “judged that the outbreak probably occurred naturally” to now include the possibility that the new coronavirus emerged “accidentally” due to “unsafe laboratory practices” in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the pathogen was first observed late last year. The classified report, titled “China: Origins of COVID-19 Outbreak Remain Unknown,” ruled out that the disease was genetically engineered or released intentionally as a biological weapon.

This is very upsetting, very bad. Basically, there is a strong circumstantial case that the coronavirus did indeed emerge as an accidental release from the Wuhan Virology lab where scientists, funded partly the NIH no less, were doing controversial gain of function research on bat viruses collected from the wild. If you thought that had been looked into and found to be nothing but a conspiracy theory, you’re wrong. The scientists who claimed that were the same scientists involved in one way or another with the research. How convenient.

So this is just great. Just great. Here’s a bright idea. Let’s not let scientists do research that might result in global pandemics that kill hundreds of thousands of people (or perhaps millions before were done) and cost trillions of dollars, because it might, MIGHT, result in some knowledge that might prevent some hypothetical disease in the future. Or if we do, let’s let them pay for it by their fucking selves. Which they will never do. Watch Chris Martenson’s video.
