Police clear protesters from spot where Rayshard Brooks was killed

Atlanta police have cleared out armed protesters who took over the site of the burned-down Wendy s restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was killed by cops, according to a news report.

The fast-food eatery on University Avenue had been cordoned off by armed demonstrators who declared it a police-free zone in recent days until city police cleared the area and opened the road Wednesday morning, WGCL-TV reported.
