Oh really, they are too kind at SDG&E. It was only 110 degrees F with lots of smoke in the air. Not so bad. They apologize for any inconvenience. Well, perhaps just a teeny, tiny bit. Almost got a divorce and murdered my child, but other than that, everything’s good!

We still have a big fire, the Valley Fire. Check it out. Lots of terrifying pictures. I hope hope hope the Santa Anas do not tonight blow the fire our way. Unfortunately, these devil winds blow from East to West. I can’t get my fire pump started, in spite of my son’s subjecting it to a minute analysis. Everything seems fine, except that it won’t start. I would just stay here and die rather than evacuate, but burning to death is said to be painful.
