If you look at the map, you can see where Jamul is, where I and my family unit reside. I hope the fire does not make it into the residential areas. My fire pump is at the mechanics and he understands the obvious urgency. I hope it will be fixed in time to exercise its magical property of keeping the fire at bay. If it’s working, I figure I won’t need it. If I need it, well, then I’m up the famous creek. Yes, believe me, I know I should have been better prepared.
