Republicans choose Trump over Reagan as best president ever 2-1

Despite the disgust many in the GOP Washington establishment have for former President Donald Trump, Republicans continue to adore the former president, far more than the party s modern-day hero, former President Ronald Reagan.

By 2-to-1, in fact, Republicans have chosen Trump over Reagan as the best president ever, a huge flip in just three years.

In the latest Economist/YouGov survey, 36% of Republicans called Trump the best. Just 18% called Reagan that, followed by 13% for President Abraham Lincoln and 11% for President George Washington.

In 2018, Republicans chose Reagan over Trump 36% to 10%.

This is just deeply wrong. Maybe it shouldn’t be called the GOP anymore.
