Asian American parent rebukes Virginia school board for admissions policy changes

A former Wall Street Journal writer and parent of a Fairfax County, Virginia, public school student criticized the school board for supporting the elimination of a race-blind admissions policy at the county s Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

The Ivies, Stanford, Chicago, all the super-selective universities should probably have about three times the Asian-Americans they now have, and that goes for the selective high schools as well. Asian-Americans are being kept out because the people that run the schools like some races more than others. It comes down to that. I think that’s racist and wrong, but nobody’s asking me.
