RedState s Jennifer Van Laar began reporting on this development a week ago, although while the source remained anonymous. Yesterday s report from Spy Talk gave more heft to the story, whose report got co-published in The Daily Beast:

It is indeed curious. I really want to see that list of PRC, let’s call them, “helpers” — sounds much nicer than “spies.” The FBI and CIA must be worried. We’ll know this list is about to come out when we start seeing the otherwise puzzling retrospectives on Hollywood blacklisting, McCarthyism, etc., etc. begin to come out on CNN, MSNBC etc. And lots of stories on anti-Asian hate crimes of course, which we at the RC oppose of course.
