Chinese Authorities Detain Teacher Who Suggested that China Should Try to Coexist with CCP Virus
Chinese authorities recently detained a teacher for 15 days after he suggested that the country should try the coexist with the CCP Virus.
The announcement of the detention had the effect of shutting down vocal online debate on whether the Chinese regime should abandon its zero-tolerance approach to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus, as the country grapples with the spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant.
This is what it’s like not to have free speech. Probably plenty of Americans admire this approach, but so far, I hope, just a small minority.
