Delta s Itchy Flight Attendants Are Grounded – WSJ
Delta s new uniforms, designed by Zac Posen and manufactured by Lands End, were launched to great fanfare three years ago in colors including Passport Plum. But many employees wanted to leave the former Project Runway judge s duds on the tarmac. There have been numerous complaints about skin rashes and of colors bleeding onto other garments. The airline has allowed its flight attendants to wear their own clothing along with badges indicating they are employees, and it said last year that it would redesign the uniforms.
But some current and former employees wanted more, seeking to launch a class-action suit against the manufacturer (the designer, Mr. Posen, shut down his business in 2019). The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin last week refused to grant certification to the group. With their legal options limited, they might have to resort to disgruntled fliers way of attempting to right wrongs angrily tweeting at @LandsEnd.

I’ve never been physically threatened by a Delta flight attendant, unlike a United flight attendant, a very large woman, who did make me quite uncomfortable. So there’s that. It’s a low bar, but Delta’s better than United at least.
