Larry David ‘screamed’ at Alan Dershowitz at grocery store over Trump ties

Larry is a knee-jerk radical, Dershowitz told Page Six. He takes his politics from Hollywood. He doesn t read a lot. He doesn t think a lot.

It s typical of what happens now on the Vineyard, he added later. People won t talk to each other if they don t agree with their politics.

Larry David, whether you like his politics or not (and I don’t) is a comic genius. “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is deeply funny, especially if you follow the gags over a season. It has a dark view of everything, as at least some comedy should. Larry David makes the case for the Calvinist view, the utter depravity, of human nature, which seems a bit peculiar for a Jew. But he’s not a very good Jew. He’s probably an even worse a**hole than he comes across as in the show.

I have no trouble believing this story. I admire Dershowitz’s support for the Constitution and for Israel. There is good reason to believe he did indeed have sex with at least one of the underage girls under Jeffrey Epstein’s tender mercies and I personally witnessed many years ago how almost unbelievably obnoxious he was capable of being. A lot of great litigators are obnoxious individuals. Almost all of them, however, would restrain themselves one hopes before having sex with an underage girl, if indeed he did that, which I suspect.
