My colleague Dov Fox is quoted in the WSJ. To answer his question, yes, making babies is exactly a crapshoot, however you do it. If you’re married to the mother or father, however, you have some idea, though far from perfect, what you’re getting into. But only a rough idea. You could say that’s part of the fun, depending on your idea of fun. Say, the “adventure,” which includes the possibility of tragedy.
